An old house in the middle of the forest on an island in the middle of the lake. This is where taciturn Isaac, who suffers from partial memory loss, is supposed to take care of a mentally ill young woman. Chained by his employer—supposedly for his own protection—and therefore severely limited in his movement, he starts to explore the building, while his memories slowly but surely return. Caveat is an old-fashioned, sharply focused cinematic nightmare burrowing deeper and deeper toward truth and insanity (and into the viewer’s brain).
