A modernist estate situated in the middle of the idyllic Welsh countryside: Inside, a supremely dysfunctional nouveau-riche clan is getting ready for dinner, for which the taciturn, mysterious Cadi has filled in at the last minute as the server. Old Wales, steeped in folklore and natural forces, is ridiculed and stays locked out. For now. Shot entirely in Welsh, The Feast is a sharply focused folk horror film culminating in a nightmarish confrontation between (not so) powerful human beings and nonhuman forces. And it will keep you on the edge of your seat!
