Vicious Fun is a fast, agile piece of eightiesploitation that juggles visual and other clichés without becoming one itself. And when you’re watching more than a dozen psychopaths all located somewhere on the Voorhees-to-Lecter spectrum go hunting for a constantly skittish fan of synthetic blood and guts, you’re definitely in for some Vicious Fun. Calahan, Cody is a Canadian writer, director, and producer known for the Antisocial film series, Let Her Out, and Oak Room. The latter won the audience awards at both the Fantasia Film Festival in Montréal and Grimmfest in Manchester. Cody is the co-owner of the production company Black Fawn Films, along with director Chad Archibald. His latest film, Vicious Fun, premiered at the 2020 Sitges Film Festival.
